EARTH IS DEAF. Interview with CSA Drug

From the experience has brought you the process of study and investigation prior to the composition of this record, what do you think the theme of historical memory in the present moment? Do you think there is still too much indifference and begins to arouse people's interest to know what happened? RESPONSE. But suddenly we have a civil war, forty years of dictatorship and transition to laugh, even if some want to sell us as a model.

RESPONSE. The silence is respected only when you know what things are quiet. It is impossible to respect someone who does not know anything. That's not silence, is ignorance. . During the tour of this album have been some talks, accompanied by acoustic performances at different colleges and schools. How has this experience for barrels? Have you found a response from the students or have been difficult to reach them? RESPONSE. As it's been an amazing experience. When explaining the topics I speak as a teacher. I can not teach or give too many specifics. But my vocabulary is different than the kids and kids are accustomed to hear in class every day, and only so because it was more enjoyable. One day I start reading about it and little by little I am realizing that really do not know anything about this. Five years ago I find out what happens in prison is at the top of the hill behind my house in my neighborhood. And then I think: "Wow, how is it possible?". A forty-six years is beginning to realize all this ... That's a fucking shame, shit ... That's where it all started the process, both musically and personally. We have been very good in many places, but in others we have not even been able to be because of the conflict that existed among teachers.
